On-line information management integrated into RCS service

Internet based, real-time reporting capabilities now available during all phases of event registration

Registration Control Systems (RCS) has added internet based, real-time reporting capabilities to all of its registration systems to enable clients access to a library of customized reports available upon request, twenty-four-hours a day, seven days a week. Until now, data processing personnel handled all reporting. Each and every report was generated on an individual basis, based on each client's request. With all reporting now available on the internet, the client defines what reports are needed and the system takes it from there. All available reports are updated each night to reflect 100% of the registration totals. In addition, the client can access a report throughout the day that will include all totals up to that point.

"We have built our reporting system around our client's need to receive timely information from their registration database," says Jim LeCroy, Vice-President of Development. We continue to expand our library of available reports. Each time we build a custom report for a client, we add this to our library which now totals over fifty different report models."

"We recognized the need of our clients to have up-to-the-minute counts and breakdowns of their database. Before web reporting came about, generating reports faster and faster was an on-going challenge, no matter how many resources we threw at the problem. Now that we have these web capabilities, our clients see the data as it's entered into the database. Their reports now reflect total counts, all of the time," says Dan Zumtobel, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. "Not only do the reports reflect current counts, they are available to our clients whenever they need them. Many of our clients have us set this service up whereby many users can access the reporting capabilities by assigning each user a password. They log in, enter a password and they're on their way. We can limit access to certain reports, if necessary."

All financial reporting needs are also met when using the RCS systems. "Our clients who have utilized this automated, web based reporting service, have told us that they really appreciate the immediacy. They are able to meet their own internal reporting needs in a far more timely basis than anything they have used in the past," says Gary Palmer, Vice-President of Operations.
