RCS establishes an east coast presence
“It has been a goal of ours for quite some time to have an operation in the nation's Capitol,” said Edgar Bolton, President of RCS. “With our new office in the DC area, we now have sales and operational capabilities in the Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington DC and the Toronto areas. We have found that offices in these areas allow us more flexibility in servicing our clients.”
RCS formed a new company in 1997, Capitol Registration, Inc. that was located in the DC area. The company was dedicated to servicing a limited market segment. "With the opening of the RCS Washington DC office, and the incorporation of Capitol Registration into the RCS organization, I believe we can now provide significantly better service in the DC area,” said Jim Nichols, VP & General Manager of RCS - Washington DC Operations. “This operation will be able to assist our Eastern Time zone clients as well as provide better service to those located in the DC area.”
For the first few months, this office will handle clients already serviced by RCS and Capitol Registration, with emphasis on those where Jim Nichols is the Account Executive. It is the RCS plan that the office will expand into a larger, general production facility as the need dictates. This office will immediately develop a sales operation under the direction of Jim Nichols and Dan Zumtobel, VP Sales & Marketing of RCS. “I'm excited to finally have Washington coverage. There is a definite local advantage in our business and now we can be more effective and provide an excellent source for local registration services in the DC area,” said Mr. Zumtobel.
Mr. Bolton summed it up. “For thirty years, RCS has endeavored to provide the best possible customer service. We hope this expansion will not only enhance our services but demonstrate our commitment to our Washington DC clients."
