Produce your event badges in your office
"The RCS Registration badge making Appliance was created to provide an easy, efficient and cost effective way for registration managers and meeting planners to get plastic magnetic stripe badges produced in their offices," said Edgar Bolton, President of RCS. "Whether the needs of the meetings are a few badges, or, for tradeshows, many thousand, the RCS Appliance is a great option. Our goal was to give registration managers and meeting planners a new tool that will allow them to produce electronically readable professional plastic magnetic stripe badges in their offices that can be used for both electronic and visual identification. I believe we have met the goal with this easy to use, cost effective appliance."
The RCS Registration Badge Making Appliance is located in the clients' office and connects to their in house registration system through a network. The Appliance acts as an output device for the clients' system and allows the users to produce electronically readable plastic magnetic stripe badges from their computer under their control. These badges can be used for advanced lead retrieval solutions for the exhibitors and a host of other applications for the show producer. Any simple computer with a web browser can be used to operate the Appliance. "Compared to other methods this can be a good cost savings approach for many organizations," said Gary Palmer, Executive Vice President of RCS.
This turned out to be a very good approach for a recently completed Trade Show. The show had approximately 30,000 attendees and used more than 500,000 square feet of exhibit space. "Not only did we save money for the show, but with the Appliance Show Management was able to produce and mail out their advance badges from their offices, which was important to the show management team." said Sam Hamilton, Vice President of RCS. RCS also provided the lead retrieval systems for the exhibitors and support for the show on-site. "The Appliance and the system worked great. This was my client and I like to please my clients. It was a great way to give good service, meet the clients needs and, as it turned out, please the client." Sam Hamilton added.
"The client doesn't need a users manual or any training when they use the RCS Registration badge making Appliance. It's one of the easiest methods for a user that likes to keep their registration in house and yet produce advanced lead retrieval solution for their exhibitors." Said Jim LeCroy, Vice President of Development for RCS.
