RCS (Registration Control Systems) introduces targeted, participant specific, badge sponsorship opportunities for it’s "RCS Green Badge"

The "RCS Green Badge" is a badge that does not require a plastic holder instead it just uses a RCS reusable clip made of metal.

Here’s how it works, the RCS paper badge printers produce a larger badge providing ample room for a color-coded identification panel at the bottom of the badge, so there is no need for a plastic holder to identify attendees from exhibitors, press or speakers. The proprietary RCS printers print the color panel directly on the badge.

We were looking for a green option to take the place of plastic, oil based badge holders. The badge we came up with was not only green and part reusable but it also turns out to save money and is a cost effective way to allow sponsorship opportunities on the badge.

There are many places sponsorships can be located on the badge and in some cases a company motto or slogan can be printed. As an added benefit, different sponsors can be printed on different badges depending on the code attached to that attendee e.g. attendees looking for TV could have a Sanyo sponsor logo and attendees interested in Computers an Intel logo. Also, different categories can have different sponsorships (e.g. Exhibitors, Press etc.). There are many possible combinations for sponsorship.

Again, because the badge stock real-estate is a bit larger than the traditional badge there is more room both on the front and on the back of the badge. With the versatility of the RCS Green Badge system registration managers will have freedom to be creative with unique sponsorship opportunities and be able to provide new revenue for the show.

Four-color printing comes standard on recycled paper badge stock. The recycled stock contains 100% post consumer fibers, it is acid free, FSC Certified, Certified process chlorine free and made with 100% clean energy. Best of all it is less expensive than standard 1 color badge stock. The "Green" reusable clip is also less expensive than the standard plastic badge holder. It’s a great combination
